DIY canopy bed

Here is a fun tutorial from "Country Living" for a canopy to hang over your bed. I love the pop of yellow!  I'm thinking it would work great for a reading nook for the girls as well:) On the "to do" list. See it HERE

• 1 cup crushed ice
• 1 cup watermelon, raspberry or lime sherbet
• 4 teaspoons lime juice
• 1/2 cup miniature semisweet or white chocolate chips

Fabric flower and lace frames

These ended up being Mother's Day gifts so they all went to different people (including myself:)) but I'm thinking it would have been cute to keep em together......different pictures of course. You'll need left over fabric and paint, hot glue gun (burnt myself lots doing this one so be careful) and a few old ugly picture frames that need to be reborn. This was my first fabric flower attempt...so simple. Check it out HERE!

New pictures of the girlies

 I've found a new love for photography especially when it's of my loves.

 I'm especially liking the "cross screen" editing tool that make fabulous little sparkles appear!

 My girls like it too. I think it makes them feel like they had been sprinkled with fairy dust.
